Healthy Hawaiian hiring at hand

The Queen’s Medical CenterWest O’ahu campus will replace the St. Francis Healthcare System’s Hawaii Medical Center West. The $70 million nonprofit project is slated to open in early 2014.

Although The Queen’s Health Systems plans to staff the new hospital with many current employees, it’s planning two job fairs in early November intended to fill some 200 positions. The new hires may also be employed at Queen’s Medical Center on Punchbowl Street in Honolulu.

The two job fairs will start at 9 a.m. Nov. 2 and Nov. 9. The first will run until 2 p.m. at the University of Hawaii West Oahu’s Kapolei campus, while the second will run until 1 p.m. at Honolulu’s Manoa Elementary School.

Qualified applicants should apply online and bring resumes with them to their fair of choice. Queen’s Health Systems will be hiring for a range of jobs (including technical, clinical and nursing support) as part-time, full-time or call-in positions.
