Longs Drugs building new Honolulu store

Longs Drugs‘ new 24,000-square-foot store will open in June in Makiki, a section of Honolulu northeast of downtown, and will create 50 new jobs.

The new Longs location on S. King Street across from McKinley High School will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will offer a CVS drive-through pharmacy along with traditional Longs Drugs products and services.

Longs Drugs currently operates 53 stores in Hawaii. Rhode Island-based Longs Drugs opened its first Hawaiian store in 1954.
